How do I make a booking?

When will my booking be confirmed?

We receive a lot of requests but we endeavour to respond to you within 3 working days. If you haven't received a response within this timeframe, please do contact us at, or call Jamie during office hours on 07517895798


When and how do I make payment?

Once your booking has been accepted, you will receive an invoice to pay your deposit by bank transfer. Upon receipt of your deposit, your booking will be secure, subject to your hire fee being paid one month prior to your event date.
For bookings made with less than a month until the event date, please pay the total amount immediately.

What are your prices?

Main Hall

Children's party hire £20/ hr
Fri/ Sat evenings £30/ hour
All other hire £25/hr

Small Halls (both rooms)
Fri/ Sat evenings £30/ hour
All other hires £20/ hour

Whole Venue (not including back bar area)
Children's party hire £35/ hr
All other £40/ hr

Deposits (refundable)
Children's party £50
All other £100

Cleaning fee £30 (compulsory for weekend evening hires).

Please note that minimum booking times apply and prices are subject to change. All large events such as wedding receptions will be POA. Please contact for more information.

Is my deposit refundable?

Yes, the deposit is taken to cover any incidentals, and/ or late cancellation (see full T's & C's for more info).  As long as you meet these terms, your deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of your event taking place, you will need to provide your bank details for this. Thank you.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel/ change your booking any time, up to 2 weeks before your event date without incurring any charges.

Bookings cancelled less than 2 weeks in advance will not have their deposit refunded.
Bookings cancelled less than 48hours in advance will lose their deposit and 50% of the hire fee.
Bookings cancelled less than 24hours in advance will not be entitled to a refund. 

Should the Village Centre need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be entitled to a full refund. 

What facilities/ equipment do you offer? 

All hires include use of a shared kitchenette; this is a small area with a kettle, some mugs, dishes and cutlery available.
NB, there are no cooking facilities in the centre, you are welcome to bring pre-prepared food. If you hire a private company, please provide details within your booking form, or by email to Thank you.

All halls have access to tables and chairs.

We do not currently have a bar facility but are able to arrange a temporary bar for you.
We hope to have the main bar open again later in 2024. 

Can I hire a bouncy castle/ soft play/ DJ/ Caterers?

Yes, our venue is very versatile and we want you to make the most out of your event. Please talk to us about your requirements and we will be happy to advise of any local businesses we may know of. 

There may be some restrictions due to health & safety. Please let us have the details of any outside companies you are using for your event, including their public liability insurance, upon booking or ASAP after, so that we can advise on any limitations. Thank you.
